LONG BIO (100 words):

Carrie Kruck writes books for kids, including the soon-to-be-released books Iggy Who Breathes Fire (plus the summer camp sequel Iggy Who Shines, illustrated by Erika Meza) and Alfred Blooms, illustrated by Carmen Mok. She grew up in Canada, worked as a psychologist in Australia, and now lives in New England with her husband, two kids, and a delightful assortment of owls, foxes, and bears (oh my!). She loves swimming in lakes, snowshoeing in forests, and growing food in her garden, but you can mostly find her staring out the window with a cup of coffee (aka writing) or at www.CarrieKruck.com.
